As I so dramatically found out 6,000 miles away in dank summer smog of Hong Kong, my Brother Craig triumphed gloriously in his final semester exams and thus would Graduate with a highly respectable and deeply deserved 2,1 in Computer Science. All that was left for him to do was attend the prestigious ceremony at Queens University and have us, his family, accompany him.

When I first woke up I found myself aloof and my mind otherwise engaged. Such frivolity quickly dispersed though. Indulging for a single day with the people who matter most is the least I could do after such a lengthy and turbulent journey to take me to this point. There have been more ups and down’s than many would have the exertion to count. But I have finally arrived.

No – not Craig and I, but our Aunt Carol and (new) Uncle Julian. I would of course include a picture of the Bride and Groom, but I’m not sure how I’d feel if my future Nephew or Niece posted my Wedding photograph on an internet blog without my knowledge! Suffice to say the service was nice, the food was good and I am very happy for them. To the happy couple!
