What are the solar lamps to signify? Well, on the 1st of August I will embark on the most stellar adventure of my life – a circumnavigation of the world that will take 2 months and see me travelling 43,000 miles through 16 countries and across 4 different continents. It really will be on a different scale to anything I’ve done before, both in terms of duration, mileage and challenge.
And old fire burning in an old pub in the old backwaters of old County Down. All the while, discussions taking place on grand future plans soon to come to fruition. A pleasant lunch then served as we chewed the fat some more. Oh, and it was also my Father’s Birthday, but I believe he probably paid. Yes, our Father paid for his own Birthday lunch. We truly are the best sons.
