I might have had a horrible weekend had I let the seething hot temperatures of Sunday or the heavy contingent of scumbags get to me. The music, however, was thankfully the redeeming factor. Interpol’s performance, particularly, was – by a mile – the most stunning performance I (and probably most of Ireland) have ever had the privilege of witnessing. Truly sublime.
