Oh what a cold night to be standing outside waiting for the Moon to turn orange! I’m quite pleased with my photographic results though, considering I’ve only got a digital camera with 3x Optical zoom! As for the spectacle, I think Robert Massey really described it best: “It is like Mars suddenly coming a thousand times closer and just hanging there in the sky above you“.
