We weren’t sure whether we’d need our passports for the Vatican, so we brought them just in case. No border checks though, just an archway with old Latin inscriptions where you can run back and forth and claim to have visited each nation fifty times. Quite a juvenile activity, so we decided instead to focus on the place we had come to see – St. Peter’s Square and Basicalla.
