From Sydney, we flew onwards to Nadi in Fiji, stopping only for a matter of hours before crossing the International Dateline on our way to Honolulu in the Hawaiian Islands. It was an occasion made even more special by the marking of my Brother’s 2nd birthday, which, because of the weird effects of the dateline – he subsequently got to celebrate (albeit unaware) again!
