I can’t say my trip to Belgium was anything other than fleeting. I only actually set my foot down in the country for about 10 minutes to get some Smarties biscuits from a service station. Still, we had the pleasure of traversing the Ardennes, which was a welcomingly attractive backdrop on an otherwise arduously long journey to Luxembourg and Germany.
